Rhino

Rhino is a 1.5 year old blue-nose bully, born with a neurological condition called swimmers. Swimmers is correctable when treated swiftly, but Rhino was not provided the necessary physical therapy in his formative puppy months. Rhino came to us from Austin, TX, at 10 months of age. By this time, his hind legs could not be adjusted and his condition had become permanent. Rhino doesn't walk, but rather hops to get around. He also has a wheelchair that he likes using on walks. Rhino will soon be undergoing surgery to amputate his hind legs to hopefully increase his mobility and comfort. He is a special case with the sweetest temperament. He wins the heart of everyone he meets and has such patience for all the medical care he has received.
