Queso

If you're looking for a house-trained pup that won't be a bother while he keeps you company and motivated to take daily walks, Queso is your boy! He is amazing in the home: nondestructive, quiet, and borderline lazy. He loves chews and will work for treats. He knows sit, lay down, stay, and "out of the kitchen" while anyone is cooking. Queso is kennel trained, house trained, and loves his plush dog bed. Queso walks wonderfully on a leash and enjoys other dogs, but would also be happy as an only child. He would prefer a home with no cats, chickens or livestock: Queso believes that those non-dog creatures can't be trusted. We love his lopsided ears and goofy grin, and hope that you will to! Queso is about 8 years old and has no known health conditions. He is neutered, has been treated for heart worms, and is up to date on vaccines and preventatives.

Additionally, his previous fosters have offered to pay for a full dental at our local Fort Worth dentist once he's adopted.
