Opal

Opal, a gorgeous blonde pup, was born on August 4, 2023. Opal has always loved her food and boasted the biggest belly of all her siblings while they were together with mom. Opal is the perfect mix of leather and lace. She takes treats gently and loves to snuggle, but also loves horsing around with other dogs and doesn't shy away from rain or mud. She is a uniquely happy girl and has the most contagious smile!

Opal's journey began with her remarkable mother, Love, a dog rescued from the brink of euthanasia at the BARC shelter in Houston. Love's story of survival and resilience has undoubtedly passed down to Opal, who is living testament to the transformative power of love and compassion.

Opal is ready to start the next chapter of her life—a journey filled with love, snuggles, and companionship (and of course some sneaky puppy shenanigans to boot)! Opal's local adoption fee is $300. She is up to date on vaccines, is microchipped and is spayed. She's also up to date on heartworm prevention.
