Laika

Laika is an 11-month-old sweet heart! She's a big lap dog that loves the company of other pups and people. Laika was found near Houston, in a large pack of similar-looking pups. She was the only pup that her finder was able to catch. Laika is deaf and has slight-moderate vision impairment, due to the inbreeding of the pack. Laika loves attention and has a gentle, playful personality. She enjoys balls, chasing her friends, going on walks and car-rides, and all the snuggles. Like most of our deaf dogs, Laika's love language is physical touch (and treats!): she loves laying next to her person or canine friends while she snoozes. Laika is up to date on her vaccines and is scheduled to be spayed in July. She is potty trained, good on a leash, and is crate trained.
