Kylie is a laid-back, pet-loving girl who has never met a stranger. She is 3.5 years old and approximately 60lbs (and still on a bit of a weight loss program). Kylie loves all humans, big and small, and is dog, cat and pig-friendly. She is amazingly obedient, and loves a leisurely, social walk in the park, lounging on the couch, and enjoying a good snack. She is very house and potty trained, non-destructive, and kennel trained. Kylie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
A bit on Kylie's history: At 9-months-old, Kylie and her good friend/brother, Kyle, sustained injuries after being thrown from a moving vehicle outside of Houston. They were taken in by a rescue, recovered beautifully, but were sadly shuffled between boarding facilities for two years. The rescue transferred Kyle and Kylie to Code Red Animal Project Inc. and we brought them into our home in October 2022. They had been boarded separately and were SO excited to be reunited. Both were adopted out to amazing homes within a few months. Unfortunately, Kylie was found presumably dumped by her adopters during a deep freeze in January 2024.
Despite the odds, Kylie is an amazing, resilient and loving pup. At 3.5 years old, she is healthy, happy, heartworm negative, potty trained, obedient, and fully house trained. She is very sweet and loves car rides, chews, snuggles, and pets. Kylie is excellent with children and cats and would make a phenomenal family dog and would love being featured in family photos. Kylie is even already a local TV star, with her story airing on local news in Houston: https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2022/08/12/community-spotlight-fairytale-endings-rescue-in-houston/
Kylie is currently located in Fort Worth, Texas, and is available for adoption locally or transport can be arranged to their perfect out-of-state home(s).
And a HUGE thank you to Photography by Sheila for the wonderful pictures. Sheila is so skilled in pet portraits and had all the patience in the world to get the perfect shots of our goobers.
