Alvin

Alvin is one of the most joyful, family-oriented and loving pups we've ever met! He takes a little while to get comfortable in a new home, but is an absolute goober once he does. Alvin is a good listener and loves frolicking. He adores toddlers and is very calm with them. Alvin is wonderful both on and off leash, in the car, and in the home. He has lived well with both dogs and cats. As a puppy, due to reasons unrelated to him, Alvin had been to the shelter 3 times. We took him into our rescue and vowed to show him consistency, love, and patience. His personality and confidence have blossomed as a result. He loves everyone he meets and enjoys all dogs (with the exception of some bulldogs-- pretty sure the snorting freaks him out). Alvin would likely do best in a home with another dog or kids, as he has so much love to share. He does have a docked tail, so you don't have to worry about him knocking things over or hitting your little ones with his very happy tail. Once he learns the routine in a new home and gets acclimated, we think he'd do just fine being left uncrated due to his nondestructive nature. Alvin also loves snuggles and definitely wants to be a valued member of the family. In his ideal world, he'd have a designated spot at the family table with his very own place setting and napkin.

Alvin is, of course, neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.
