Murdoch

Meet Murdock, a 6-year-old gentle soul with a heart full of love and gratitude. Murdoch adores his people and loves meeting new friends. He is a low-to-medium energy dog and loves being a house dog, but also gets excited to go on adventures and practice his training. Murdoch is blind, but his lack of vision hasn’t slowed him down one bit! Murdoch is dog and cat friendly, and he’d do well in a home with older children and/or adults. His vision impairment makes him a bit uneasy around toddlers, so a home without teetering tots would be ideal.

Murdoch came to use after ending up at Dallas Animal Services as a stray. We do not know much about his younger years, but he’s been very loved in his foster homes. He is crate trained, good on a leash, non-destructive in the home, and listens really well. Murdoch has simply blossomed with his foster families and acclimates quickly to new environments.

Murdock is a people-lover through and through, and prefers to be at your side, showering you with hugs and kisses. He's never met a stranger! In the shelter, he was even a volunteer and staff favorite due to his friendly and affectionate nature. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered.
